  1. SEARCH
  2.  
  3. Searches the currently selected folder for the message containing the first
  4. occurrence of the specified text string.

  7. Format:        SEARCH [search-string]
  8.  
  9. Parameters:    [search-string]
  10.  
  11.                Indicates the text string that MAIL searches for in the
  12.                currently selected folder. The search starts from the beginning
  13.                of the messages in the current folder. If a "search-string" is
  14.                not specified, a search is made for the previously specified
  15.                string, starting after the message you are currently reading (or  
  16.                have just read).
